Finally Christmas morning came. We had actually had to wake the kids up at 8:30 a.m. We were tempted to let them sleep longer, but we had to get the day going so that we could be to my parents house later. I foresee that this will be one of the last Christmas mornings that we will have to actually wake up Kaitlyn in order to see what Santa brought.
Kaitlyn was sure excited to see that Santa was able to find a pink drum for her. So was I, phew!! Unfortunately, Santa forgot to bring ear plugs for me and Doug.
Santa brought Jason a little toy keyboard, so now we'll start up our dream of having a Wyatt Family Band.
Jason is unwrapping the gift that Kaitlyn gave him. She was so excited to give him a gift this year. She picked it out all by herself. The next pictures are just of random Christmas joy.
It was a wonderful Christmas morning! Everyone had a lot of fun playing with their new toys. Doug got some tools, shirts, and of course some BYU gear. Doug got me some lotion, a new picture of the Portland Temple, and best of all ... new earrings to replace the nice diamond ones I lost. What a nice hubbie!! After we got all cleaned up, we went to my parents for Christmas dinner, we played games, called our other family, Doug and Aaron went geocaching (of course), and we just enjoyed being together on this special holiday. Merry Christmas!!!
