The day after Thanksgiving is the day we put up the Christmas tree and decorate the house. We found a great deal (thanks Black Friday) on a Christmas tree (pre-lit, yipee!) and put it up. Kaitlyn chose which color of ornaments to use. She picked blue and silver and loved putting them up.
Here she is trying to put some hooks on the ornaments.
Kaitlyn even helped keep Jason entertained while we were decorating by sharing her doll with him. 
The finished project. Kaitlyn would lay underneath the tree and look up to enjoy all the pretty lights.
Doug did a great job decorating the outside of the house. He says he wants to do more on the outside, but we don't want to end up like the Griswold's.

Love the Christmas decor. We just put ours up as well, so fun! Kids are still cute as can be.
How fun! We decorated the house tonight! We're going to get our tree tomorrow. Kya's really excited :) Doug did awesome! Tell him he can come do our house next! We don't have rain gutters, so no where to hang the darn lights. . . a metal roof too. Weird!

Blue and silver ... hmmm wouldn't have anything to do with BYU would it? I bet Doug was happy. Haha. The decorations look great.
Your house looks so awesome! Makes me want to get candy canes and snowflakes too. I'll have to wait until after christmas to buy'em. rats. but seriously, doug did awesome and i love the tree.
