My mom has always wanted to take all of her granddaughters to the Nutcracker Ballet. Unfortunately we're the only ones close enough right now. So Kaitlyn and I were the lucky ones able to go. My brother Eric was working on the sound for the ballet in Provo, so he was able to get us tickets. Thanks Eric! My mom and Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn was so excited to go. She was talking about for days about how she was going to the 'cracker dance'. Funny! Kaitlyn loved it. She liked looking through the program and seeing all the pictures of the ballerinas. Once the ballet started she just sat on my moms lap and didn't move. She was totally enthralled with the ballet. After the intermission it was hard to try to keep her close to the seats because she wanted to stand in the aisle and dance like the ballerinas. Eric was able to get us backstage to meet one of the ballerinas. Don't know why Kaitlyn is playing shy for the camera because she was totally talking to the ballerina. After we got back to my moms house she was showing off her new dance moves that she learned to Doug and my dad. The ladies after the ballet. It was a great experience! Kaitlyn's been dancing around the house on her tip toes. Thanks to my Mom and Eric for getting the tickets. And thanks to Doug for babysitting Jason (and thanks to Doug's grandma for helping him decide to skip the BYU Las Vegas Bowl game).

Oh my goodness. That's just awesome. Looks like you'll need to sign her up for ballet.
